acupuncture
The gentle and shallow insertion of fine needles into specific points to support health.
A Non-invasive, supportive, all-natural medical treatment that can be used alone or in collaboration with other complementary or conventional medical treatments.
Has little to no side effects when delivered properly by a NCCAOM certified and State Licensed Acupuncturist.
According to research from the NIH (National Institute of Health), acupuncture has shown to be effective in supporting the healing or symptoms associated with:
cupping therapy
Cupping therapy involves using heat to remove the oxygen inside a glass cup, creating a vacuum. When the cup is quickly placed onto the skin, the resulting vacuum pulls the skin and soft tissue into the cup forcing blood flow into the concentrated area.
The suction produces negative pressure, which increases hydration and blood flow to body tissues, releases muscle tension, and eliminate excess fluids.
Commonly utilized by athletes to assist in and speed up the recovery and healing of sore and fatigued muscles.
herbal medicine
Herbal medicine has been used for thousands of years by traditional cultures worldwide.
Herbal medicine utilizes parts of plants that can come from the leaf, flower, stem, seed, root, fruit or bark.
Plants contain a large number of naturally occurring chemicals (constituents) that have some type of biological activity. Some pharmaceutical medicines research plant constituents and obtain some of their ideas from plants. For example, the malaria medicine quinine is extracted from the bark of the cinchona tree, the pain medicine morphine is produced from the opium poppy, and tamiflu from star anise seed pod.
Plants/herbs ARE medicine. It is important to go to an educated and trained herbalist with experience and knowledge.
